Hey attendees, do you have any lemonade stories to share? We’d love to hear them! Tweet to @Clever with #remotelearning. Or share here in the Town Hall chat.
I look forward to Doug's daily webinars!!!!
In the last few town halls I have been impressed by the focus or at least sub-focus on equity.
Our system is provided video-streamed lessons for PreK-12th grade students. They are offered on all local cable networks and YouTube. They are also posting music, counseling and art lessons.
Clever has been life saver for me and my co teacher. I would like to congratulate my 3rd students for willing to learn along with me using clever and Teams
Blackboard, Google classroom, Zoom!
Yeah Doug - same here. We filled out our PD and PLC calendar all day every day the last few weeks and are impressed with how many teachers have showed up. Great work!
We started with wazzapp groups to Teams and posting videos and links on clever teacher page
I would like to know if there is a way to set up a way for students to be automatically logged out of apps and clever after a reasonable amount of time.
Here is the ACPS website Emily is discussing: https://www.acps.k12.va.us/Domain/1435
Does your school or district have ideas on planning for the future? Share in the chat, or Tweet @Clever #remotelearning
Pasadena is already at One to One K-12 and have been that way for 2 year.
What are your current challenges in remote learning and supporting teachers & students during school closures? Share in the Q&A module and we can discuss as a group during the last 15 minutes of this Town Hall.
I really miss Year Round schedule. Work 3 months, one month off.
How have district rolled out Clever for 6-12? Troubles I have are Teacher training and buy in. And Student training. At K-5 level the Classroom Teacher which works with them all day is the source of training and integration. It is easier to train the teachers and get them to buy in because it saves them time.
Thanks, is that MOU available on a website?
Can a person fail due to non-attendance ?
Thanks, I like the NG option that allows students to use an average of Qtrs 1-3
In Mobile, AL--we are grading and only focusing on 3 critical standards for reading and math at the elementary level. Our Plan is 3-3-3 (3 major grades, 3 minor grades, 3 critical standards).
Thanks for sharing Jennifer, happy to hear your teachers enjoy using Clever. Have they been trained on using Teacher Pages?
@Alan Barnicle "Staff will collaborate with their supervisor (or counselor designated by the building) if a student's grade will be negatively impacted due to factors related to the closure."
Tucson USD rolled out Clever for K-12 (we have 87 schools), MS getting on board with Clever but HS primarily uses SIS (Synergy) or O365 Teams
For folks who want to revisiting these topics, we will share a recording, answers to the Q&A in an email on Monday. You can always find all Town Hall session recordings on clever.com/learningathome.
Thanks for this great meeting!
